Recently, the Beall’s retail store in Gun Barrel City, Texas shut down. This was in early 2020. The building stood vacant for several months. In January 2021 it was announced that a new store, Burke’s Outlet, will be occupying the space. There is no current date scheduled for the grand opening, but in January 2021 a “coming soon” banner was placed on the outside of the building.
If you are in the Cedar Creek Lake area, especially in Mabank, there are not a lot of options to get to Dallas. There is no public transportation available. Your best bet would be to use something like the Facebook Groups to ask if someone is available, or you could use one of the ride-sharing or taxi services in the area.
